The Flagship Enterprise Loan Program recently approved over a quarter of a million dollars in new loans moving past the $3 million mark in total loans. Since 2010, FEC has made working capital, inventory and other business financing needs reachable to nearly 200 businesses.
Authorized by the Small Business Administration to lend in 24 Indiana counties, Flagship has helped finance Minority, Women and Veteran owned businesses through its lending programs. Small businesses can obtain up to $50,000 in capital through the Microloan program and larger businesses can borrow up to $250,000 through the Community Advantage program.
Having passed the $1 million mark in 2014, Flagship has seen its loan participation increase dramatically in the past 12 months helping create and retain new jobs throughout Central Indiana.
