ANDERSON, IN [November 16, 2022] — Flagship Enterprise Center has announced they are hosting a new event, called “Flagship Pitch Anderson.” Flagship Pitch Anderson is a business competition open to for-profit business owners who want to expand their current products or services within the City of Anderson. At this event, entrepreneurs will pitch to a panel of judges for a chance to win a prize package that will help them fund and implement their ideas. The pitch competition will take place on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at their location on 2705 Enterprise Drive.
Flagship Enterprise Center’s vision is to make it possible for anyone to launch, grow, and sustain a business. Flagship believes entrepreneurship is a great way to make a positive impact on individuals and local communities. The purpose of the Flagship Pitch Anderson event is to provide opportunities for existing Anderson business owners to grow in their endeavors, while, in turn, making a larger impact on the Anderson community.
Considering the impact of this event, Flagship Enterprise Center CEO & President, Terry Truitt, explains,
“The Flagship team works hard to connect local entrepreneurs with the resources they need, which is why this pitch event is different from most. Rather than focusing on startups, we’re supporting the expansion of businesses that already have foundations in place. We want to help businesses grow in a way that benefits both them and the Anderson community.”
There are three prize packages available to contestants; the largest is worth $20,000. Each prize package includes a cash prize, along with various consulting and business development services. Eligible business owners can apply at flagshipenterprise.org/pitch.
