WorkOne Business Center Opens at Flagship Enterprise Center
WorkOne, a system planned and managed by the Central Indiana Regional Workforce Board, announced the opening of a business center office at
the Flagship Enterprise Center. The business center office is located on the first floor of the Flagship Enterprise Center in Suite 110, directly across from the Corporation for Economic Development and Madison County Chamber.
Peg Murdock, Employment and WorkKeys Specialist, said “We finally made it, after working with the Flagship for the last four years!” Murdock added, “This is a whole new era and I look forward to taking complete advantage of this wonderful place while working with employers and applicants on a more professional level.”
The business center and WorkOne currently do WorkKeys testing at the Purdue computer lab, housed on the second floor of the Anderson University Flagship Center, adjacent to the Flagship Enterprise Center. WorkKeys testing, supported and validated by ACT, is a nationwide system of evaluating work specific skill levels and is now required by many employers. The business Center and WorkOne administer this service at no cost to job seekers. Businesses can also have their jobs profiled, at no cost.
In addition to WorkKeys, the business center is there to assist businesses with their employment and training needs.
