Description:
Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is one of the strongest "tools" in the lean manufacturing toolbox.  Tom Epply, Vice President of Engineering for Comfort Motion Technologies, LLC, will show participants how to create a "map," which is a picture of the entire flow of a process from beginning to end, using examples from participants.  Once a map has been created, it can be used to identify areas of inefficiency and waste. Improvements can then be made to the process that will increase productivity, reduce expenses, and ultimately, enhance customer satisfaction for your organization.
