FEC names Landwehr as interim executive director

The board of directors of the Flagship Enterprise Center recently named DeWayne Landwehr as interim executive director.  During the next few weeks, Landwehr will transition into this role previously held by Art Patterson who is transitioning to a new position.

“Increasingly we are finding that energy, electrical and power electronic companies are choosing residency within the Flagship Enterprise Center,” said Charles Staley, CEO and president of the Flagship Enterprise Center.  “DeWayne Landwehr is uniquely positioned to respond to the needs of these new technical companies.  He is a graduate of the General Motors Institute and a former director of Product Engineering at Guide.  He understands the broader technical and engineering landscape.”

“I am grateful to Chuck and the board of directors for affording me this opportunity, “  said Landwehr.  “I am also grateful to Art Patterson for mentoring me so thoroughly during this transition.  I look forward to helping the Anderson and Madison County communities in this new assignment.”
