Rivers named to Flagship
Enterprise Center Board of
Directors
The
Flagship Enterprise Center Board
of Directors recently announces
that Mr. Eddie Rivers, founder
and CEO of Esource Resources,
will join the board of
directors. The announcement
marks the first time that a
Flagship client has been elected
to a board position.
"I
congratulate President Edwards
on the selection of Eddie Rivers
to the Flagship Enterprise
Center board of directors,” says
Charles Staley, president and
CEO of the Flagship Enterprise
Center. “Eddie has launched
several successful new
businesses and brings a wealth
of experience to the board,".
"Eddie is the first Flagship
client that has been appointed
to the board. I think he will
represent other clients well and
relay their interests and
concerns effectively."
Rivers earned a bachelor’s
degree from the United States
Military Academy at West Point
and later obtained his MBA from
the University of Southern
California. After five years of
active duty, Rivers left the
military as a Captain and
Disabled American Veteran due to
an injury sustained at Army
Ranger School. He worked as a
leading sales representative for
IBM and later transitioned to
lead regional and national IT
services sales for IBM
resellers, Comsi of Indiana, and
Real Industry Solutions.
“There is a list of credential
that Eddie brings to the board,
which is the kind of talent that
helps to nurture us,” says Jim
Ault, president of Flagship
Enterprise Center Board. “He
can serve as a representative of
the clients at the Flagship
because he himself is an
entrepreneur. He brings a lot
of diversity with all his
experience… as an entrepreneur
he’ll give insight to the
clients which gives strength to
the board.”
While serving in many
capacities, Rivers is the CEO of
Kid’s Voice and The Children’s
Law Center of Indiana. He has
served on the board of directors
of the Easter Seals Crossroads,
the Police Athletic League and
the Colts Horseshoe Club. He is
the President of the Lawrence
Exchange Club and is a former
President of the Speedway
Exchange Club.
As
the founder of Esource
Resources, Rivers is continually
working to improve the lives of
youth and non-profit
organizations in the community.
