Services: Fathom Voice offers a hosted VoIP telephone service and an online-based customer relationship building tool called Fathom crm.

According to the owners: Weeks Communications is expanding nationally and rebranding itself as Fathom Voice.

“We have made the decision to focus on Fathom Voice as we move forward,” CEO Cameron Weeks said. “We did this to push one brand name to unify and build our brand awareness as we enter the national market. The Fathom Voice brand is a solid foundation for our continued growth.”

Weeks has reached a partnership agreement with Serviam, a strategic communications consulting firm based in Englewood, Colo., which will resell the company’s products.

“Now we have the ability to reach out to the East Coast and the West Coast, said marketing coordinator Seth Daniels. “In business you always look for the right company and the right fit, and we think we found a pretty good group of guys.”

The ability to reach a national clientele has taken years of preparation to build and scale Fathom’s networks on so they are completely automated.

“We built our network to scale automatically, and we placed our data centers around the country from the beginning,” said Bracken Fields, cofounder of the company and CFO.

“This allows Weeks Communications to keep support staff and developers focused on building more applications for Fathom Voice, while reducing the amount of manpower spent adjusting the network each time a new client or location is added to the network,” Fields added.

Weeks Communications has its headquarters at the Flagship Enterprise Center in Anderson.

Weeks was named emerging business of the year for 2011 by the Madison County Chamber of Commerce.
