Hoosier Bacteria Fighter Expands

Fueled by partnerships that include the Dallas Cowboys and The Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD), an emerging Anderson-based company tells Inside INdiana Business it is ready to hire more workers. Coeus Technology, which makes and distributes antimicrobial technology, has “graduated” from Anderson’s Flagship Enterprise Center and has just moved into a 40,000
square-foot facility to accommodate increased production. In a Studio(i) interview, Chief Executive Officer Nate Richardson tells Gerry Dick demand for the company’s bacteria-fighting products will mean new jobs for Madison County.

The company’s Monofoil technology is used by high school, college and professional athletic teams, including the Dallas Cowboys and Indiana Pacers, to attack bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi that can invade locker rooms and training facilities.

Coeus is also manufacturing a consumer-based bacteria-killer, Ultra7. which targets which is targeted at victims of flooding and mold. It is being distributed online at Home Depot.

Coeus Technology was launched in 2009 by Nate Richardson and Dave Parker, military veterans who grew up together in Bloomington.
