Amatra Technologies, Inc Partners with IBM

Anderson, Ind. — Flagship Enterprise Center client, Amatra Technologies, Inc., has successfully
completed validation testing of its E-Connect software for IBM’s Government Network Centric
Operations (NCO) Framework. The E-Connect system is an innovative message broadcast and
notification solution that allows for messages to instantly be sent via e-mail, text message, voice
notification and other communication methods.

The IBM Government NCO Framework connects independent software providers specializing in
solutions for public safety and defense. The framework was created in 2008 to help military and
security organizations better integrate their command, control, communications and computing
systems across different service branches. Through the Government NCO Framework Initiative, IBM teams with select business partners to validate solutions for these organizations through rigorous testing and analysis. Systems contained within the framework provide state-of-the-art solution in the areas of messaging, mediation, discovery, collaboration and enterprise service management.

Amatra’s E-Connect system is a state of the art message broadcast and notification solution from
Amatra Technologies, Inc. The system is designed to send messages via e-mails, SMS/text messages, and voice notification messages to targeted audiences instantaneously with the click of a button. E-Connect is a highly scalable solution which can support the transmission of large numbers of messages via various communication mediums.

The E-Connect system has been implemented at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. The system is used to notify students of emergencies, potential threats, or hazardous weather conditions.

Created through a partnership between Anderson University and the City of Anderson, the
Flagship Enterprise Center serves as a small business incubator and growth stage business accelerator. Through its client-specific Client Support Program, the FEC helps emerging companies to become independently viable. Located at I-69 and (exit 22) in Anderson, the FEC provides ongoing contact with management consultants, university researchers, student mentoring opportunities and access to capital.
